More Frequent Intercourse Can Lower Erectile Dysfunction

How bad can it be to have more intercourse? Actually, it’s not bad at all, but a great thing for men in preventing erectile dysfunction. According to recent studies by Finnish researchers, men that engaged in intercourse less than once per week had a higher risk of developing erectile dysfunction than those who actually had intercourse at least once a week.

The study was conducted of over five years with nine hundred males, ranging from age 55 to 75 years old. Results showed cases of erectile dysfunction among the participants who had sex less than once a week. Men’s Health Clinics addresses this
concern in the patient’s initial consultation.

The study focused solely on sexual intercourse and clearly indicated that regular intercourse was key in preventing the development of erectile dysfunction. The bottom line is improving sexual activity can affect overall health and quality of life.
